French designer Manuel Jouvin has created packaging for cooked snails made of dyed snail excrement.
Snails are encouraged to eat coloured paper, which alters the colour of the raw material.
Called Dejection-Moulding, the project was developed in collaboration with snail farmer Sylvie Pierru.

If carrying a wet papery packet home puts you off fresh fish from the counter at your local supermarket, London designers PostlerFerguson have designed a series of sleek sleeves to promote the less endangered types.“Supermarkets are expanding their fresh fish offerings to include more sustainable species like gurnard, mackerel and skate. These fish are cheaper and just as tasty, but customers often shy away from them because they are unfamiliar and occasionally just plain ugly,” says Martin Postler.

Made from layers of polyethylene, the packs are resealable, airtight and can be topped up with ice to keep everything fresh until you’re ready to cook it.

Get rid of those dull cardboard boxes packaging for your pair of shoes, and give the Sole by Cassie Pyle a warm welcome. The Sole is an eco-friendly packaging for your shoes that is made from 100% recycled materials or 100% organic cotton. In addition, the packaging has a super hip design that everyone can carry it anywhere they maybe. The sole also has a mesh material and drainage that allow the water to drain from the bag by the time that you wash them in the washing machine. This packaging allows every consumer not only help save the earth but they can now wash their shoes with comfort as well.

"By switching away from boxes, Puma is saving 8,500 tons of paper, a million litres of water and a million litres of fuel. The system will reduce paper used for shoeboxes by 65% and carbon emissions by 10 tons per year. "
